When two of YouTube’s biggest creators, Dan and Phil, decided to explore London’s creative side, they ended up glowing—literally! In their hilarious and curious video, the duo took on the Neon Naked Life Drawing Experience at The Old Queen’s Head in Angel, London.

“It’s called Naked Neon Life Drawing,” Dan said with disbelief, as the pair nervously made their way to the venue. “We had to check if we could even put this on YouTube!”
The class, hosted by Jylle Navarro, is no ordinary life drawing session. Under ultraviolet light, the models are transformed into living sculptures, covered in UV-reactive body paint, glowing accessories, and bold colours. The result? A unique art experience that blends creativity, performance, and atmosphere into one unforgettable night.
“It was a Tron special!” Dan laughs in the video. “We’d had a few drinks by that point, so we decided to just roll with it.”
Throughout the class, the pair joined in on timed creative drawing challenges. “Round one was to not look at the paper,” Phil recalls. “I'm not looking! I'm just drawing!”

Hosted weekly across several London venues, including The Old Queen’s Head (Angel), The Phoenix (Oxford Circus), and The Prince of Peckham, Neon Naked Life Drawing is open to complete beginners and experienced artists alike. All materials are provided, including fluorescent pastels and UV lights to bring your artwork to life.
The class encourages participants to break away from perfectionism and explore expressive techniques like continuous line drawing, mark-making, and abstract composition — all while soaking in the electric glow of the room.
Dan and Phil’s visit proves just how inclusive and fun the experience can be — whether you’re an artist, a creative explorer, or just looking for something totally different to do in London.
